Monday Reading

It’s My Birthday! What Are You Reading?

It’s my birthday! …Well almost. My birthday’s tomorrow and I’m so excited!

Last week was crazy busy (thank goodness for writing some posts ahead!) and I finally got to take a weekend for me, about me…because BIRTHDAY! Which is also why I’ll be skipping tomorrow’s Top Ten Tuesday which is about Top Ten past or future setting’s you like to read about. Not to be cheesy but for me, tomorrow is alllll about the present.

I also got a chance last week to read some fun posts on other blogs involving bookish travel/touring and it gave me some inspiration! Not sure where it’s going to take me yet, but I’m looking forward to sharing it with you once I do!

I managed to snag few deals last week on some new (used) books! There’s a post coming on where to find deals soon!

me before you
Total savings $0.91!

This week I’m reading:

Galileo’s Middle Finger by Alice Dreger (Yes, still. It’s incredibly interesting but non-fiction just does not read as quickly for me. I’ll get through it eventually)

The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making by Catherynne M. Valente

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

This week I finished reading:

Nothing, I finished nothing. It happens.

What are you reading?

It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? (1-25-2016)

Better late than never right? I had some issues with the site, but finally got them ironed out and my post up here! Enjoy!

This past week I started some fun new adventures in adulting, am still trying to figure out where I’m going to be living in a couple of months, and got to enjoy not one, but two! snow days!
You’d have thought that would have meant I read A LOT…except I didn’t. Mainly, I cleaned. And then when I finally attempted to get some relaxed reading time in, my cat did this:

cat + bathtub + book = no bueno
cat + bathtub + book = no bueno

So yeah, I’m still working on:
Galileo’s Middle Finger by Alice Dreger
The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making by Catherynne M. Valente
Where Men Win Glory by Jon Krakauer

This week I read:
Legend by Marie Lu (review coming!)
